A right to Life.

I think that everyone deserve to live no matter what is their condition. Because we need people in this word because they are the better opporotunity for us. They will make a life better and more interested. We have to pass a knowledge to others so they can learn more than we did.
The facts are clear. Abortion is wrong and should not exist. Everyone has a natural right to live and make decisions. Women have the right to choose, but what about the babies? Each and every one of them should be given a chance to explore the world by him/her self and decide if it’s worth living. Abortion not only saves babies, but it saves health of many women. It does not have to be the final answer, because there’s always someone who has enough love to adopt an unwanted child. Abortion is not the answer. "I’ve noticed that everybody that is for abortion has already been born"

Ronald Reagen. "If you were given a chance to live… give that chance to a child."

What abortion does to women's health?

Abortion is a medical procedure so pain and complications may occur. Researchers found out that pain from abortion is more painful than a bone fracture, about the same as cancer pain, but not as painful as an amputation. Statistics show that abortion is more painful for the younger women than to older adults. Patients also say that abortion is more painful than their doctors expected it to be (“Abortion Statistics”).
More important than pain, complications like bleeding, hemorrhage, laceration of the cervix, menstrual disturbance, inflammation of the reproductive organs, bladder or bowel perforation and serious infection may occur. There are also long term complications from abortion. When overzealous curettage damages the lining of the uterus it may lead to permanent infertility. Women who have abortions have more risk of tubal pregnancy and doubled risk of future sterility. Each abortion increases the risk of future miscarriage. Women who had abortions before age 45 increased their risk of getting breast cancer by 50%. Women under 18 who were never pregnant before and who had abortion after the 8th week of pregnancy increased the risk by 800% (“Physical Complications”). These are serious complications. Women who decide to have abortion do not only kill their unborn children, but they risk their own health and life.

Abortion not good for the economy?

There are also some economic factors, which prove abortion is not good for the economy. It is not true that children are “unproductive cost centers”. It’s a fact that in some cases government money is used for welfare, but children eventually grow and they pay taxes, spend, save or invest money. Economists believe that abortion hurts the U.S economy, because “Fewer babies mean fewer consumers, less demand for goods and services and fewer jobs”. When woman chooses to have abortion she will not spend money on products needed for children, which lowers productivity. Less children, means less jobs for teachers and doctors. There are industries concentrated on children and families, so murdering children affects employees too. “Two-thirds of all economic activity in the United States is consumer spending”, so if there is no consumers, there will be no spending and the economy will go down. The other economic argument is that “abortion drives the Social Security crisis”. Killing children leaves fewer young people to care for the post-World War II Baby Boom generation, which will soon retire. The Social Security Administration says:” The main reason for Social Security’s long-range financing problem is demographics”. Abortion also does not save the tax dollars, because one child “returns in taxes 3.7 times what was spent on it and its mother in cash welfare and food, housing, and medical assistance”(“What Do 40 Million Lost Lives Mean?”). Looking from the economic point of view abortion only harms not helps the economy. It is another reason to make abortion illegal. More people mean more brains, geniuses and ideas that will help the world and possibly make it better. Killing a baby,
“murders” useful knowledge.

STOP!!!!ABORTION

It’s positive. For some women it’s the moment of joy, pure happiness. It’s something they have been waiting for, a child, new family. For many it starts with tears, tears of joy, because they have been waiting for so long to have a child and it’s finally happening. For others it starts with: "How did this happen?", "We were careful", "I don’t want a child and I’m not ready". The joy one feels is a pain for another. Then there’s a dilemma" "Should I?", "It’s not a child yet, is it?", "Yes, I’ll do it…I’ll have the abortion". STOP! You are pregnant, so there is no "I" anymore, there’s "us", "we". When you think of having an abortion you are thinking of taking rid of one part of you, of a new life that could come from you. You are not fair, because you have a weapon, a weapon of abortion and the life in you is unarmed and most of all innocent. Now it’s time to think for two people, not just for yourself, you can’t be selfish anymore. You have to take responsibility of your actions, because conception does not happen from the wind. You knew what you were doing and now you want to get rid of your problems the easy way. The most important thing is that the new life depends on you and your decision. The new person can not do anything. Unborn children are unable to decide for their life, but it is their natural right to be alive, so abortion should be illegal.
There are many definitions of what abortion is. "It is an induced termination of pregnancy and expulsion (to force or drive out) of a baby that is incapable of individual survival", "Abortion is the induced termination of a pregnancy murdering a baby". Abortion is a murder, killing, because a biological definition of "life" is "The property or quality that distinguishes living organisms from dead organisms…Since the unborn baby has a metabolism, grows, and can react to stimuli, it by definition has life"(" Life"). If
Selwa 2
the fetus was alive in mother’s womb and is dead after an abortion the baby was killed. If a fetus had the possibility to live after birth it was killed, because it lost the possibility to be alive. Murder means to kill another human being. Since a human being is a member of the genus Homo sapiens which is an embryo, fetus, child, teenager, adult, and everyone else with our similar genetic coding, killing a fetus is a murder. There are about 1.6 million abortions per year in the United States alone ("Abortion Statistics"), so if abortion is a murder it can be said, it’s a Mass Murder. The death of abortion is higher than any other event known in history (Henshaw 101-105).
Abortion is a medical procedure so pain and complications may occur. Researchers found out that pain from abortion is more painful than a bone fracture, about the same as cancer pain, but not as painful as an amputation. Statistics show that abortion is more painful for the younger women than to older adults. Patients also say that abortion is more painful than their doctors expected it to be ("Abortion Statistics").

What if a woman is pregnant due to rape?

Some people might think. If someone was raped and got pregnant, should she keep a baby or not? You might try to erase the bad images from your life but they will never disappear. If she get older she would be thinking about the baby and the rapist. She might forget the rapist but not the baby who was inside of her. That was the part of her life but the baby will also remind her of the rapist. But you don't always have to keep it. You might give it to adoption. Less than 1% of all abortions are due to rape or incest. Furthermore, since conception doesn’t occur immediately after intercourse, pregnancy can be prevented in nearly all rape cases by medical treatments including the morning after pill.
Nearly all the women interviewed in a recent survey said they regretted aborting the babies conceived via rape or incest. Of those giving an opinion, more than 90 percent said they would discourage other victims of sexual violence from having an abortion. I will show you some example what women wrote after they give a birth to the child of "rapist"

"I began to realize that this little life inside me was struggling, too. . . I was no longer thinking of the baby as the 'rapist's' . . . I nowthought of this baby as 'my baby.' My baby was all I had. I felt abandonedby everyone. I had only this life inside me to talk to."

Many young women would change some people lives by giving themselves a chance and the baby. By the time you think cleavery it might be too late. You could hate the baby but babies give some much pleasure that by the time you realize what happened you are behind that and you got something important in you life. Your baby. Finally, if you found out today that your biological father had raped your mother, would you feel you no longer had a right to live?

I'm against the abortion!!

I'm against the abortion because I think that everyone deserves to live. If somebody doesn't want to have a baby it doesn't mean that you need to kill the baby. You can always give it to adoption where some parents who cannot have babies will take care of unwanted baby. They will give baby a home, care, safety and education. Instead of killing you can give this little baby a life and family. As we know in the United State the abortion is legal. But many people make the abortion because they don't want to have a responsibility. Instead of protecting themselves from pregnancy teenagers go out, drink have sex without any protection. Then they go and find out that they are pregnant they just get rid of the baby like it is an object just because they don't know how to be responsible. Abortion insures that 750,000 females each year do not have control over their bodies. Why? Because they’re killed. About ½ of the total babies aborted each year in the United States are female – killed before they are even born, not even able to enjoy the basic right to life. If abortions were illegal, there would probably be around 100,000 a year, as opposed to 1.5 million today so it's easy to conclude that this would save lives. Hearts would not be changed however – this is only accomplished through a consistent education program. Finally, what is legal is not always right. Law doesn’t reflect morality rather the law should reflect a morality that is independent of the law. Case in point: was abortion immoral on January 21, 1973 and moral on January 23, 1973? In the 1940’s a German doctor could kill Jews legally, while in America he would have been prosecuted for murder. In the 1970’s and American doctor could kill unborn babies legally, while in Germany he would have been prosecuted for murder. Laws change. Truth and justice don’t.
This statisc show why some people make an abortion.
